Normally a company will choose to formulate with non-safe-in-the-USA pigments or dyes to make a product 100% vegan.
However, the colors that are not eye safe are shades that could easily be made eye safe, so I’m really disappointed that Nyx chose not to formulate with eye safe ingredients. I will say that I do really appreciate that Nyx took the opportunity to mark which shades are not eye safe on the back of the palette, which is where I first noticed that some shades were not eye safe. With my palette, I put a black mark next to the eyeshadow colors that are not eye safe. I went to double check on Ulta’s website, but the listing is no longer available. When I bought this palette from, I did not see anything that mentioned that there were eyeshadows that were not to be used in the immediate eye area. The palette specifically says on the back of the packaging that those shades ‘cannot be used on or around eye’.

When I watched the original Sabrina tv show (which was much lighter in nature), I still wasn’t a fan of Harvey. I always want to see more Ambrose, Prudence, and Sabrina. If there could be zero Harvey on the show, I’d be happy.
